Although it is away from the sea, the pool villa I stayed in was extremely clean and well-equipped. The staff were very kind and helpful, and spoke English very well. FREE minibus transfers to Hua Hin, and the cheap taxi service to Bangkok. I will certainly pay a return visit. I can well recommend this resort.
